Privacy policy
Your data should have one clear purpose.
This policy explains the information ONE World handles, why it is needed, and the choices available to players. We aim to follow the transparency and data-minimisation principles reflected in Australian privacy law.
Effective 30 August 2026
1. Information we collect
We may collect your email address and account identifier; chosen player name and country; game results, reaction times, streaks and progress; Stripe customer, subscription, payment-status and receipt identifiers; support messages; and limited technical information needed for security, analytics, cookies, and reliable operation.
2. Why we use it
We use information to provide and restore accounts, operate leaderboards, verify paid access, deliver digital items, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, improve the game, meet legal obligations, and—only where consent is required and given—measure campaigns or show advertising.
3. Service providers
ONE World uses specialised providers to operate securely. These can include Supabase for email authentication, Stripe and Link for payments and tax, OpenAI Sites and Cloudflare for hosting and storage, and approved analytics or advertising services after consent. Providers handle information under their own terms and privacy commitments and may process it outside Australia.
4. Cookies and advertising
Essential storage keeps the game and account secure. Optional analytics and advertising technologies will not be enabled until they are configured and the required consent controls are available. You may change optional choices through the cookie settings shown on the site.
5. Public leaderboard information
Your chosen nickname, country, score, accuracy, and reaction result may appear publicly. Do not use your full legal name or include personal contact information in a nickname.
6. Retention and security
We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for accounts, purchases, leaderboards, support, legal records, fraud prevention, and service operation. We use access controls, encrypted connections, signed payment notifications, and restricted account sessions, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
7. Your choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information, subject to legal and transaction-record requirements. You may unsubscribe from optional marketing, reject optional cookies, cancel a subscription, or ask us to close your account through Support.
8. Young players
ONE World is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information should contact Support so it can be reviewed and removed where appropriate.
9. Complaints and questions
Contact ONE World Support with a privacy request or complaint. We will review it and explain the next step. General information about Australian privacy rights is available from the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
